IMPORTANT: Review the common maintenance issues below before contacting us.
Many common plumbing problems can be resolved on your own. Please review the advice below to get started.
Clogged Toilet
If your toilet clogs, a plunger is the best tool to get the pipe clear. Simply press the plunger into place over the drain hole and move it up and down vigorously. Do not flush the toilet when trying to clear a clog, as this may cause the basin to overflow.
Clogged Drains
If your sink, shower, or bathtub drain clogs, you may be able to clear out the pipe using a small drain cleaner. Many hardware stores sell tools for this purpose. Please do not use harsh chemicals that could damage your plumbing system.
If you lose electrical power, call your utility provider before making a repair request. The electrical company should be able to help you troubleshoot the cause of the issue.
If you continue to encounter difficulties, get in touch with us.
If you don't have hot water, there may be a problem with the settings on your water heater. Verify that the thermostat is set accurately and your tank is not in vacation mode. If you're able to cycle the heater off and back on, do this to reset the defaults. Wait 15 to 20 minutes for the water to heat before testing the temperature again.
Make sure your thermostat is set correctly, and has not tripped or encountered a fault that has shut off the system. Reset the thermostat. Call your utilities provider and check to see if your service has been suspended.
In a true emergency, call 911.
